-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4×4 or 5×5.

This blog post might be useful:

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc’ blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

This blog post might be useful:

-How much yarn do I need?

Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

Ohhhhhhhhh…..this is lovely! And not as difficult as I thought. Thank you! Your instructions are very easy to understand.

  2. When I learned the half double, i learned to do yarn over, then in through BOTH stitches/loops on the top of the single, and then pull through wrap pull through.
On this it looks like she only puts it through the back stitch/loop instead of both?? Can anyone confirm this?? Don't know if I should stick to the half double that I was taught and know extremely well and am really comfortable doing, or if she does do it that way and if I need to switch..m worried it will make a huge difference in my finished product or not… And she doesn't specify anywhere if she goes through both or just the back one… Can anyone help me out here and tell me which she does please?? (: Thank you!!

  3. This is beautiful. i would like to try too. Thank you , 🙂Bella

There are 3 loops. Front. I know all types of stitches. I know how to work a FLO aN BLO. Stitch. Please anyone , exactly what loop
Do I go in. Upside down backwards. My goodness. I’m left handed. I crochet left handed it’s all backwards to me. But this is to much. I appreciate clarity. I love love the stitch and your lecture. Except can you clarify this point. Thank you.

  11. Can you do this in the round.. without it being a spiral?

I was making a poncho, and I did the first panel with the knit stitch.. Then I realized this looks nicer so i did this instead with the second panel. Realized too late that the camel stitch panel is a lot shorter! Same amount of yarn used, but this makes it tighter i guess, and it makes a difference on a big piece. Hoping blocking will even them out lol

I love your channel! As a complete beginner (just started a week ago!) I successfully made a small basket weave blanket for my girls’ dolls and am trying this stitch now for another doll blanket. Row 3 is really making me stumble though; any other advice for being successful on this row? Thank you so much for excellent videos! 💛

I wanna crochet a 2meter scarf, how many yarns do I need?

  25. Jean Tolman says:

At the end of row 3, you suggested putting the hook into the back loop for the last stitch because it will help the side edge look better. Is this just on row 3, or should I be doing that at the end of row 2 also?

A tip : if the 'tail' of yarn from the beginning foundation chain is on your 'right side of the work…that is the wrong side…
