//FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4×4 or 5×5.
This blog post might be useful: http://bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc’ blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?

Hi
I am trying to use stitch markers to keep track of my first/last stitches but I'm not sure I'm putting them in the right place. I want the marker to show me where to put my last stitch in a row. So should I be attaching it to the first or second chain? Or to the first stitch?
Me trying to do many skills at the same time
As In: trying to play clarinet, piano, viola
Trying to do: roller skating, crochet, and keeping up on my grades (╥﹏╥)
This tutorial is great! ❤ My 1st blanket is beautiful….but I did tend to add stitches by mistake at each end lol, so the shape of mine isn't perfect, but I am still so pleased with it. I will make more of an effort to count my stitches next time. Thanks for the lovely tutorial x
I tried doing this and so far its taking me 2 days i dont know if im doing something wrong but it looks nice so far
I have done the first row but I had different yarn and so I trashed it and I’m going to change yarn. So I want to use a #6 Super Bulky which I’ve used before. As with the first yarn I can do the first row but I’m making it the size of a twin bed. I’ve been crocheting for years. But I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do the second row! I’ve looked at this video umpteen times. But for the life of me I can’t figure out where you’re getting those two strands of yarn going into the top of the stitch. When I did the first one it ended up looking like a ribbed/ridged blanket which I like but I could never find the instructions. It was an accident that I did it from your directions. I was going into the back loop only. But I really want to make this blanket but still can’t figure out how to do that second row! Someone help please!!! Thank you
For some reason "the work" keeps curling up and wont stay flat and straight like yours
Any idea what im doing wrong?
Also, getting to the third row is confusing as im not sure what i should be hooking through
can i use thinner yarn and still follow this video ??? i dont want holes in the blanket though
I’m am making this for my baby niece
When I try it comes out like a circle, why is that? am I making it too tight or skipping
Bella, the link to the pattern on your blog does not work.
why do you go to the third stitch for the first one at the start but then do every single stitch after ?
I made my first baby blanket for my unborn nephew and it turned out amazing! Thank you so much for such an easy to follow along video
why am i crying bc i cant crochet😂
I just ordered this bernat yarn im so excited!! 😀
in what world is this a 3 hour project😭
i followed the tutorial and did the same number of row but for some reason i ran out of white yarn idk what happened 😅
So far this isn’t for beginners.
i’ll update this!
1/1/2021: ive never crocheted in my life but i’ve gotten 2 rows done in 2 hours with distractions
(one row later)
i restarted because i didn’t make it wide enough, take 2!
1/2/2021 i can’t really tell how many rows i’ve done but i think it’s 10! going well, looks a little janky tho!
Help. I started with a 55" chain and after the 1st row my chain is 58" long and after the 2nd row it is now 60" long. What am I doing wrong??
My blankets gone in I must of missed stitches, gutted 😩😩
I indicated this harder to see what your doing because it's fluffy
How would this work out with a 10mm or 12mm hook? Would it make it too hole-y?
I stopped watching after you made the second row like an idiot and after 3 days of progress I realized it was bending? And I realized I went from 53 chains to 31 🤠 so now im watching the video all the way through lmao
Edit: I just completely restarted and after the third row I’m at 46 chains now? Idk how I’m doing this if anything I thought I kept redoing a chain on accident. 🙁
Edit 2: I FIXED IT YES
How many rows of each do you do?
YAAAAY everything else is so difficult but i make this and it was super easy now my little brother is really happy thx💪🏻🥰
Thank you lovely pattern for thick yarn, which is what I was looking for.🙂
How do you keep it from bowing in the middle. Fixable?
I struggle HARD trying to keep the edges even and always fail
how do you make it not curve because i dont like 5 times and it keeps curving
