Would that work as an actual sock (with finer yarn and smaller hook, of course)? I feel that the heel may be a bit shallow, otherwise it seems to be fine.

This is a GREAT tutorial! I was actually able to do it! I am so proud of myself because I always have issues making FPDC or BPDC. I was also worried about the heel. Thanks to your slow and patient teaching I was finally able to do it. Thank you so much! I have only one small suggestion. White yarn on a white background is hard to see lol. I had to strain my little old lady eyes! 😉 Great job, I liked and subscribed!

  3. I have been searching everywhere for a stocking tutorial, this is exactly what I wanted! Thank you so much for sharing, I can't wait to make new stockings for my family!!!

I made some stockings for my kids and grandkids but was not happy the way they turned out. So I promised I will make some good ones. So glad I came across your video. My stitches never come out neat like yours. I like your color combination too. Thank you for sharing this

  5. For a regular sock pattern would you just do a total of 20 stitches rather than 40?

I have thoroughly enjoyed this pattern. I’ve made 4 stockings in the last 4 days for our family. Thanks!

  6. Great video, thank you so much for sharing!!!

  7. Sending Anguiano love ♥️ always

Do we use count the chain 2 as a stitch? Or just skip over it?

I just started mine for my 19 yr old grandson. They're pretty easy so far. I really like the FPDC stitch so I find that stitch very easy. Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial & pattern.

  19. This is the best crocheting tutorial I've ever watched (and I've watched a ton)! I wish I would have known about this channel when I first learned how to crochet, it would have been much easier learning process. Thanks for making this video!!!

❤️ thank you for sharing. Love your tutorials

  23. These are very nice. I love them. Thinking I will make one for each of my grandsons. They are teens and I think these will be great for them as opposed to the more babyish one I made them years ago in counted cross stitch. Thank you.
